 swasraya:- Special Child Development and Vocational Training Centre for the Differently-Abled –is a branch of ‘Reach’ (Society for Remedial Education Assessment Counselling handicapped), 18/2/A/3, Uday Sankar Sarani, Golf Green, Kolkata-700 095 – a society registered in 1981 (No. S/31639) under West Bengal Societies Act, 1961. It seeks to sponsor a special education system and also impart vocational skills to handicapped children, no matter the nature or extent of their disability. |

| Reach, Kolkata, has been doing yeoman service in the field of special education and vocational training for disabled children all over India. The first branch in South India was opened in Thrissur in June 1991 initially under the name ‘DARE’ (developmental Activities in Rehabilitative Education). |
